Taylor's University

Yes. Taylor's University is a registered private university (registration number DU023(B)). The Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) granted it self-accreditation status in September 2025, and its programmes are listed on the MQA Malaysian Qualifications Register.

Most bachelor's degrees list intakes in February, April and September. Some programmes differ, and postgraduate programmes may also have June, October or November intakes, so check the page for your programme.

It depends on the programme. Taylor's says that generally an IELTS score of 6.0 or above is sufficient, and it also accepts TOEFL and MUET. Some programmes ask for less; for example, the Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) asks for IELTS 5.5. If your earlier studies were fully in English, a medium of instruction letter may be accepted.

After you accept your offer, Taylor's applies for your electronic Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS), which takes about six to eight weeks. Your passport must be valid for at least 18 months. After you arrive, the International Office arranges your medical screening and Student Pass endorsement.
