About Taylor's University
Taylor's University is a private university in Subang Jaya, Selangor. Taylor's dates its inception to 1969. Its teaching has been rated 'Tier 5: Excellent' in the Ministry of Higher Education's Rating System for Malaysian Higher Education (SETARA), and in September 2025 the Malaysian Qualifications Agency granted it self-accreditation status. The university is based at the Lakeside Campus, No. 1 Jalan Taylor's, Subang Jaya. On campus there are lecture theatres, a 1,000-seat Grand Hall, a library, a gym, the U-Residence student housing block, and a Maybank branch with ATMs. Teaching is organised into four faculties: Innovation and Technology; Business and Law; Health and Medical Sciences; and Social Sciences and Leisure Management. For international students, Taylor's International Student Recruitment team handles applications. After an offer is accepted, the university applies for the student's electronic Visa Approval Letter (eVAL) through EMGS, which Taylor's says takes about six to eight weeks. The International Office then arranges the medical screening and Student Pass endorsement after arrival.
