Universiti Teknologi Malaysia

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) is one of the country's leading public research universities, best known worldwide for its strength in engineering, science and technology. Tracing its roots back to a technical school founded in 1904 and formally established as a university in 1972, UTM has grown into a research-intensive institution that consistently ranks among Malaysia's very best public universities.

UTM operates two main campuses. The sprawling 1,200-hectare main campus sits in Skudai, Johor Bahru, in the south of Peninsular Malaysia, offering a green, self-contained student town with laboratories, residential colleges and sports facilities.
