DSH Institute of Technology

DSH Institute of Technology (DIT) is a small private institute in Taman Danau Kota, Setapak, Kuala Lumpur, that grew out of the Damai Service Hospital group and has specialised in nursing education since 1990. It began as a dedicated nursing college and built its reputation on strong Nursing Board Malaysia registration examination results before broadening into related health and allied-health fields.

Today DIT offers a modest, practical range of diplomas, certificates and Post Basic nursing programmes across nursing, pharmacy, medical and health sciences, and occupational safety and health, alongside a few business and hospitality courses. Its close links with Damai Service Hospital and other public and private hospitals give students hands-on clinical placement, which is at the heart of how the institute trains its nurses. It is an institute or college rather than a university, and it is best suited to students who want an affordable, career-focused route into nursing and healthcare in Malaysia.
