Tuition RM2,750 per semester × 8 semesters = RM22,000. The yearly amounts shown also include USIM's recurrent fees (RM655 a semester for semesters 1–6, RM150 after that and RM150 in the final semester), so they match the per-semester totals USIM prints. USIM's own fees for the whole course come to RM27,245; visa, application and renewal are extra. Rates are for intakes from Semester 1 2024/2025 onward.
About Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia
Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) began as Kolej Universiti Islam Malaysia (KUIM). The Malaysian Cabinet approved it on 11 June 1997, and it was gazetted on 13 March 1998. Its first students enrolled on 18 June 2000, and it became Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia on 1 February 2007. The university's teaching is built around combining revealed knowledge (Naqli) with acquired knowledge (Aqli). The main campus is at Bandar Baru Nilai in Negeri Sembilan. USIM gives the distance as 47 km from Kuala Lumpur and 37.5 km from Putrajaya and KLIA. USIM moved to Nilai on 15 July 2005. The Faculty of Dentistry is at the Pandan Indah campus in Kuala Lumpur, and one of the six residential colleges is also there. USIM has nine faculties, from Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Syariah and Law, and Economics and Muamalat to Science and Technology, Engineering, Medicine and Dentistry. International students can apply for undergraduate programmes directly. Students with O Level results can enter through the Tamhidi (pre-university) programmes.
